Breakfast
We have a new contender for regular breakfast place in the neighborhood: the Grandview Grill (note: mute speakers if you don’t like sites that play music when clicked). It doesn’t serve up Wi-Fi but the signal from the nearby Whole Foods is strong.
The best part: this breakfast-lunch place is in the same restaurant group as our hands-down favorite at 50th and France across the river in Edina (Minneapolis). Same menu. Even the waitress is one I recognize from Edina.
We don’t get to the Grandview Grill all that often now. They never did install Wi-Fi. Whole Foods moved out years ago, taking their Wi-Fi with them; Subway has a signal but it’s rarely usable. For some reason our computers won’t connect. When we go to Grandview we use Verizon’s mobile hotspot — a recourse we normally reserve for road trips.
